Gabriel Perez

I was born and raised within the East Los Angeles Community and had a seemingly good childhood. I grew up having a strong imagination and expressed it through drawings and ideas both at home and at school. Video games had also been an inspiration to me as I spent however much time I could playing games like Pokemon, Jak and Daxter and many more titles.

Eventually I moved to Lancaster after I graduated from Highschool and began attending Antelope Valley College. With the transition from where I lived for most of my life to a new community made it difficult for me to concentrate and made me unsure of what I wanted to major towards. I chose Graphic Design as my major because I originally had dreams of developing video games. My first classes were Digital Media 101 (Digital Media Arts) and 113 (Photoshop 1). It was in these classes that I instantly fell in love using the various Adobe applications from Photoshop to Indesign. They allowed me to express myself with virtually no limitations.

Now that I am nearing completion towards acquiring my A.A Degree, I am taking the next step in my career by promoting myself and the work I have created throughout the years. I intend to become my own figure within the Graphic Design community through my brand "Nightspirit: Prints and Customs". I am open to all possibilities of working for companies as well as becoming a freelance creator.
